About Our Department
Emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and paramedics are often the first to respond to an emergency medical incident. People’s lives often depend on the quick reactions and competent care of paramedics and EMTs. It’s a high-pace environment that is always changing, but offers diverse challenges and big rewards.
In the NDSCS Emergency Medical Services (EMS) program, you’ll receive hands-on training from professional staff at Sanford Health EMS Education at Sanford Ambulance that prepares you to enter the workforce with confidence.

Associate of Applied Science
Emergency Medical Services (Paramedic Technology)
NDSCS offers a program certificate and an Associate in Applied Science degree in Paramedic Technology and is affiliated with Sanford Ambulance Service in Fargo, N.D.
The NDSCS EMT program fostered for me an easy to learn educational component, hands-on training/techniques with on-the-go problem solving while being in an integrated teamwork environment. Which made me fully prepared for the community I now serve!
