Tuition – Per Semester

Where are you a permanent resident of?

If you do not qualify for a ND Resident tuition rate, but are living on the Wahpeton campus and have a 160, 225 or 300 meal plan, you will receive a tuition waiver to reduce your tuition costs to the equivalent of a ND Resident rate.

Per Credit Fees – Per Semester

Enter the total number of credits for each of the locations you will have a class at (you may select more than one location). Wahpeton and Fargo per credit fees max at 12 credits each.

How many credits will you take at NDSCS-Wahpeton?

Fees Include: Student Fee $24.23, ConnectND $5.50, Tech $12.66, NDSA $0.04 = $42.43 per credit.

How many credits will you take at NDSCS-Fargo?

Fees Include: Student Fee $9.28, ConnectND $5.50, Tech $12.66, NDSA $0.04 = $27.48 per credit.

How many credits will you take at NDSCS-Online?

Fees Include: Student Fee $2.00, ConnectND $5.50, Tech $12.66, NDSA $0.04, Online Access $38.00 = $58.20 per credit.

Instructional Fees – Per Semester

Fees are based on the prefixes of the credits you are enrolled in. Enter the number of credits (not classes) for each prefix for the semester you are estimating. NOTE: If you do not have a class schedule, select the prefix of “Unknown” and enter credits of “0.”

Textbooks – Per Semester

Additional Program Costs

Some programs require additional materials, such as tools/equipment, laptops, uniforms, etc. Select your program in each of the following categories to determine if additional materials are required. Most materials can be purchased through NDSCS. (Sales tax has been included in the calculations.)

  • Per-credit fees are based on class location and help to support costs such as technology, health services, student activities and retention.
